To Sponsors of Homeopathic Seminars and Conferences,
The
Council on Homeopathic Education (CHE) invites you to
participate in a process of improving and assuring the
quality of homeopathic education in North America, goals
we know you share. We want to familiarize you with the
CHE and how, in cooperation with the certification boards
and community of homeopathic educators, we seek to move
closer to achieving these goals.
The CHE asks you to
become an accredited sponsor of homeopathic seminars
and conferences. As a sponsor, the education programs
you offer will be accredited by the CHE for Certified
Homeopathic Education Units (CHEU). Your students will
use these hours of education toward their requirements
for initial or continued professional certification.
Accreditation of continuing
education by the CHE is currently required by the American
Board of Homeotherapeutics (ABHt) to meet its annual
continuing education requirements for certified practitioners.
In the future all other homeopathic credentialing institutions
may phase in this requirement. These certification organizations
include the Council for Homeopathic Certification (CHC),
the North American Society of Homeopaths (NASH), and
the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians (HANP).
CHE accreditation of
continuing education is applicable to each seminar or
conference. The cost of accreditation is $5 per hour
of teaching. For example, an average seminar day is
eight hours, inclusive of lunch and short breaks. For
a two-day seminar, the 6 to 6.5 hours per day dedicated
to teaching would generate a fee of $60 or $65.
The CHE works with
other North American homeopathic organizations to demonstrate
to the larger health care and educational communities
that our sponsors meet the highest standards for continuing
education. We hope you will join us, the practitioner-certification
institutions, and other educators in this effort.

Sponsorship and Endorsement of Seminars and Conferences

the information and forms needed to become and function
as a CHE accredited sponsor. Look over the Handbook
